March 6th, 2010 - How Is Our Family Doing?
We have been asked by many wonderful people how we are doing since Ben’s death. I want to take a moment to answer that question for our readers.
The past three weeks have, without a doubt, been the toughest three weeks of our lives. We have asked the question “why” many times since Ben went to be with Jesus.
But we’re going to make it! We’re tired, but we’re hanging in there and relying on the goodness and grace of God every single day. We know that God is still God and that He is still good. We know that He loves us and that nothing can separate us from His love.
We also know that Ben is in heaven, since he was a strong believer in Jesus Christ as His Savior. And, we know that, according to Romans 8:28, all things will definitely work together for good. Thus, good will continue to come as a result of Ben’s life and death.
In fact, we know that three people have already become believers in Jesus Christ as a result of the life Ben lived and as a result of his death. And this is our prayer – that many, many people will find Jesus as Savior through this tragedy.
Continue to pray for us; we appreciate your prayers more than you will ever know. And, we really are more than conquerors through Him who loved us!
GOD IS GOOD – ALL THE TIME!! Praise His name forever!
